Clay Cooley Auto Group

Working with the Clay Cooley brand required sinking in and knowing the ins and outs of all the brands the auto group had under it’s belt. With 16 different dealerships and 11 different brands, balancing them out could get a bit overwhelming. In terms of content, working with Clay Cooley required the creation of digital designs for websites, social media posts, social media reels, email templates and designs, static and animated email headers, POP materials, employee manuals, etc. If they needed something I was on it.

Because there is so much content to showcase, I’ll be displaying Clay Cooley Auto Group assets on this page with more pages focusing on the different brands.

Web Banners

Working with different OEMs required using different website providers for each dealership’s website. We worked with a total of 5 different website providers that all required different dimensions for their respective website + mobile sizes for their banners. Another oddity is that even though Clay Cooley owned all 16 of his dealerships, 4 of the 16 weren’t branded under his name.

Motion Graphics

Here is a video with a selection of videos I have made for the Clay Cooley Auto Group.

Email Motion Graphics

Animation was something I was always interested growing up, but I didn’t take up learning After Effects until after I started working for Clay Cooley. I was told that our emails had a very low click through rate and I wanted to learn a skill that would elevate the presentation of our emails. Beyond the scope of just emails, I learned to use my animation skills on other projects, including social media graphics and POP motion graphics for our service departments.

Here are few examples of animated email headers, these are relatively low weight in terms of data to keep email loading speed fast.
